rub a dub dub--Spagetti and the tub

Well g had his first taste of spagetti the other night and he really liked it. So i had to take some pics :) It got a lil messy but he was having a good time with it. He go so dirty it was straight to the tub for sure. He is a total mad man in the tub. HE LOVES IT!! But he is all over the place it is kinda scary. Anyways he is a stud muffin.

9 months old

WEll first off, Griggsy is 9 months old today! Holy crap i can't believe it. He is going to walk so soon. He says Momma and dadda now, plays patty cake, and is into EVERYTHING!! He is hilarious he is always imitating everything we do now. Like i even notice him scuzzing us off sometimes, or imitating my high pitched laugh!! He is too funny! We got his pictures taken yesterday for christmas and him turning 9 months. He was so funny he just kept crawling towards the photographer trying to play with her, but we got a lot of cute smiles. The christmas pictures had too many props for him to focus so i don't know how those will turn out!! But everyone will get the pics once i get them in. I know im a total blog slacker this last couple weeks. But my camera broke and i haven't got many pictures.

Our Lil Stinker!!

Friday, Lil Griggs celebrated his first Halloween. MY favorite holiday for sure. I found his costume online and showed my mom and OF COURSE Meems got it for him! He is so spoiled but i love to see my parents have so much love for my babes!! But anyways he was a skunk cause he is such a stinky boy haha!! And OH my he is the cutest little baby i have ever seen. I know im biased but he is beautiful. I for sure thought he was going to rip his hat off and just hate it. But he was loving it, not to mention all the attention he got wearing it!! Our first stop was Stephs work at Utah Cardiology and they just loved him. All the girls in the office were holding him and taking pictures. It was quite the spectacle, and he was spoiled again by his aunt Stephy like always also. She gave him some jammies, a toy, and a book!! Then we picked up Gram pa and went to see Great Grandma Griggs. She gave him a sucker for when he was older and a toy. He LOved the sucker with the wrapper. We made a few other stops it was a busy day. He zonked out at like 7:30!! I have more pics i haven't downloaded yet but here are a few !!

Fall is here

I have been itching to go on a scenic drive up the canyon to see all the pretty leaves, so last monday the fam did just that. We went to Snowbasin and between the perfect weather and beautiful scenery it made for a great afternoon. Griggs had so much fun, we were able to get so many cute pictures of him.

This week

Well I have new pictures coming this week i promise!! Griggs is now crawling EVERYWHERE!! He is into just about everything too. And I might say this little boy is totally fearless, so i gotta watch him like a hawk. He is already pulling himself up on anything he can and he tries to balance himself. He is just like his dad, A TOTal dare devil. He has two teeth now, both on the bottom, watch out he likes too bite too :) BUt i love this little boy more than anything, he is my world. I love how happy he is too, he is always smiling and laughing!

Week in rewind

So its been a while since my last post!! My Griggsy turned 7 months, i can't believe my baby is almost a year old. It makes me so sad but yet happy to see him grow up. He is a total cutie and such a monster! He got his very first tooth on the bottom so cute :)

Entertaining a 6 month old

Well it's not an easy thing. i don't know how woman with multiple childeren do it! Ha but G is going to crawl ANY day now i just hope i get to see him when he does it. He is all over the place, he loves his walker, sitting up in his crib watching his mobile, and just a rolling all over the place. Usually for only 5 minutes at a time but hey

Our nightly walks

Griggs and I usually take a nightly walk and he is starting to really love it. He likes to just watch everything around him. I get the biggest kick outta seeing his reaction to the things we never notice because they are so ordinary to us. He is at such a curious age i love him!

Hurricane Ike

I can't believe all the damage that Ike has caused!! It just makes you realize how powerful mother nature is. I am just so grateful my family is all safe and that they could evacuate. I just can't help being so sad about Galveston. I have so many fond memories there in the summertime and it is just gone now! So sad

Neilmed rules

Well I thought that i was safe from allergies this season since i hadn't had any symptoms lately but dang i got pummeled on Friday night. I woke up with the worst sinus headache. I totally thought i had an ear infection. My momma told me about this NeilMed nasal cleanser and spray after 2 days it works sooo good. THANKS Mom!!!

Girls night!

Saturday night me, jestine, melissa, and about 5 other of our girls went out on the town. Watch out :) it turned out that is just what i needed it was sooo much fun. We went to lumpy's in salt lake (ghettofabulous) but we had a time. We had a dance party (we saw paul millsap and ronnie brewer from the jazz btw) and then went back to jestines new place and i made us all some grilled cheese and tomato soup---so good!! My friends are crazy and the best, it is now official i am making sure i get to do this once a month :)

Are you Ready for some FOOTBALL!!

I have been waiting anxiously for this day to come!! I love the summer but there is nothing like the start of the football season. EVERY sunday me, my dad, beau, and now Griggsy watch our teams together. OF course i am A HUGE jets fan!! So we got all our snacks ready to watch good ol FAvre play his first game as a jet. Griggs wore his Jets jersey!! Beau refused to hold Griggs while he was wearing our colors. He is a Detroit fan so we have some conflict of interest :) J-E-T-S won Miami 20 to 14, It was too close for comfort at the end but we pulled it off. Woo hoo 1-0 so far Detroit 0-1 sorry babe.

New Pad

Congrats to my sister Steph and Brother-in-Law. They are now the proud new owners of the cutest house in south ogden! It is really the cutest house. Beau and I went there on Thursday to check out the new crib. The neighborhood is super cute and quiet. The house has really nice wood floors and the best back yard ever!! We can't wait for the house warming party :) Here are some pics from the front yard.
