BIg Boy Bed

SO the day has come my baby has out grown his crib. So yesterday me and beau felt it was time for G to go to the next step. A big boy bed, well the crib goes to day bed then full size. Im not quite ready for that yet. Anyways he love love loves it!! HE has been jumping and climbing in it for the last two days.

Ho Ho Ho

While we were in St. George I thought it would be fun to take G to see Santa. We have been explaining to him who he was and that he sai " Ho HO HO". So now everytime he sees him thats exactly what he says!! But also we didnt want him to be freaked out when we stuck him on some random dudes lap!!! Well Thankfully the line was super short and he didnt cry but we didn't get a smile either. HE was a little confused i think but ended up giving santa a high five and knuckles!! All in all it was a successful trip, even if the santa looks pretty creeeepy!! oh well i guess haha

Thanksgiving!

This year was my first year hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my house. I was a tad nervous but ready to take on the challenge. I started cooking at around 8am and we ended up eating around 2. And needless to say, the food turned out great, i was pretty proud. Plus i got to hang out with all of my family.
That was on thursday, then on friday we drove to st. george to visit with beaus sister and brother-in-law who were in town from germany and beaus dad was in from maui.We had a second thanksgiving that saturday at grandma & grandpa andersen which was awesome also. It was just really nice to get to spend time with them, since Griggs, Beau and I never get to see them much.Griggs was definetly the star of the show. He is so funny and just loves the attention.
Then on Sunday we had and early christmas with beaus fam so we could all spend it together. We all got spoiled and enjoyed Griggs playing with his new toys!! It was a great weekend can't wait to see everyone again hopefully sooner than later.

The Gap

So the gap has done it again. Stella Mccartney has a new line out for the kiddos. Super cute, expecially having a boy it is sooo hard to find cute clothes!!!

My pumpkin and Halloween

Halloween... totally my favorite holiday, was even funner this year with griggs. We started with picking out his pumpkins, which he loves to work so he was all over it!! I ended up with way more than i reallyneeded or wanted. haha Then carving them he had to be right up in the mix helping get all the goop out. He is a great helper. He dressed as a monkey, which totally fits his personality. We only took him around to family and a few houses, but he ended up with a ton of candy needless to say. Now all we hear around the house is i wanna coookie, or i want gum!!! oh no

THRILLERRRRR!!

I have been wanting to go the the Odyssey Dance Co. THirller for so long. This year me and my sis finally went. We love us some MJ, It was a blast!!! We both had the best time ever. I was a little freaked out by the zombies that were walking around. They got us a few times!! The dancers were amazing and it was really entertaining. Lorenna Bobbit was my favorite haha so funny :)

Cookie Cutters

Last Monday we took Griggs to get his first "real" haircut. I heard about cookie cutters and thought i'd try it out. Griggs isn't the type of kid to just sit for 15 minutes while someone cuts his hair, but we gave it a go. He was awesome and totally loved sitting in the car and picking out a movie. Plus they gave him a balloon, sucker and a punkin cookie cutter- he didn't want to leave. It is a perfect place to take the kiddos. I will definetly go back, his hair turned out super cute.

Tis the season

FOR Football that is!! Im sad to see summer fade, but am stoked for my favorite sport.The Jets first game went great, and sanchez looks like he has a lot of potential. We will see this week against New England. Anyways Go jets

Lagoon

So we took G to Lagoon for his first time the other day. My dad works on base and gets free tickets so that was a total plus also, that place is outrageous. It was really realy fun. I really cannot remember the last time i went to lagoon, beau and i have been together for 6 years and have never gone, so it was about time. There are a ton of new rides not to mention the awesome kid rides. I am super afraid of heights but love going on most rides, beau is crazy and will do anything so even if i didnt want to go i have no choice. WE took g on everyride he could go on, even the haunted one!! HE LOVEd all the rides and was never scared once. The coolest part of the night was at the Dinner for my dads work, the had a raffel and Me and my dad both won. So cool cause we both never win jack, so we were stoked!! I won a video camera and my dad won a dvd player, i know KILLER PRIZES!!! After that we just played some games and won some little toys. All in all so fun and it wore the stinker out!!!

Summer 2009!!

It has been forever since i have posted anything!! Well this summer has just been crazy and so much fun. Griggs is almost 17 months and he really is not a baby anymore. Kinda sad but he is so fun. He is talking so much repeating eveything we say, and eating with a fork and spoon.Just really a big boy!! He just wants to do everything on his own and love discovering EVERYTHING around him.
We have been keeping so busy July was super exciting. The fourth was a blast we went to the riverdale parade and riverdale days. Then went to a friends house for a bbq and fireworks. We finally had our wedding receptions,one on July 10th at the city club and the other on July 12th in Steph backyard. They both turned out so nice!! My Mom helped so much i couldn't have done it without her help!! Her and my Step dad, Brother Rick and 2 nieces drove up here from Houston so it was really nice to get to see them even though it wasn't long enough visit for me! MOst of the family made it. Beaus grandparents were celebrating their 60th anniversary in Boise so Griggs took a roadtrip with his Grandma & Grandpa Yeaton to visit all the family and then came back up to ogden sunday.
Griggs has really started to love swimming and going on hikes. We try to take him swimming a couple times a week. We love the Roy pool it is so fun for the little ones and beau like the slides! We have gone to the zoo twice we took the front runner up once and that was pretty fun and Griggs is really really in love with animals he just points and stares in amazement. He is so cute.
