Lagoon

So we took G to Lagoon for his first time the other day. My dad works on base and gets free tickets so that was a total plus also, that place is outrageous. It was really realy fun. I really cannot remember the last time i went to lagoon, beau and i have been together for 6 years and have never gone, so it was about time. There are a ton of new rides not to mention the awesome kid rides. I am super afraid of heights but love going on most rides, beau is crazy and will do anything so even if i didnt want to go i have no choice. WE took g on everyride he could go on, even the haunted one!! HE LOVEd all the rides and was never scared once. The coolest part of the night was at the Dinner for my dads work, the had a raffel and Me and my dad both won. So cool cause we both never win jack, so we were stoked!! I won a video camera and my dad won a dvd player, i know KILLER PRIZES!!! After that we just played some games and won some little toys. All in all so fun and it wore the stinker out!!!

Summer 2009!!

It has been forever since i have posted anything!! Well this summer has just been crazy and so much fun. Griggs is almost 17 months and he really is not a baby anymore. Kinda sad but he is so fun. He is talking so much repeating eveything we say, and eating with a fork and spoon.Just really a big boy!! He just wants to do everything on his own and love discovering EVERYTHING around him.
We have been keeping so busy July was super exciting. The fourth was a blast we went to the riverdale parade and riverdale days. Then went to a friends house for a bbq and fireworks. We finally had our wedding receptions,one on July 10th at the city club and the other on July 12th in Steph backyard. They both turned out so nice!! My Mom helped so much i couldn't have done it without her help!! Her and my Step dad, Brother Rick and 2 nieces drove up here from Houston so it was really nice to get to see them even though it wasn't long enough visit for me! MOst of the family made it. Beaus grandparents were celebrating their 60th anniversary in Boise so Griggs took a roadtrip with his Grandma & Grandpa Yeaton to visit all the family and then came back up to ogden sunday.
Griggs has really started to love swimming and going on hikes. We try to take him swimming a couple times a week. We love the Roy pool it is so fun for the little ones and beau like the slides! We have gone to the zoo twice we took the front runner up once and that was pretty fun and Griggs is really really in love with animals he just points and stares in amazement. He is so cute. But Here are a few of our summer pics. I have tons more to post.

A little scare

Well Monday i took G baby to get his 15 month check up with his pediatrician. Of course she said he was really healthy and just right on track. Then when she was checking his legs she notices his left leg was a little more bowed then it should be. I know he is bull legged but I had researched myself and everthing said that they just grow out of it. Well I guess there is something called bowing disease that can cause his leg to bow and if not treated can cause a lot of problems down the road. So Yesterday we took him to McKay and got some xrays done. Griggs was just so good and sat so still-- ANYONE THAT KNOWS him will understand!! He is a wiggle worm. But Dr. Clawson called us today and everything is fine WHEW!! Thank God. I was so worried. Not like it would have mattered to me but you just never want to hear something could be wrong with you baby. So we had a little scare but things could be a lot worse.

Here i go

K so I am on a mission-- A mission to get in Bad A shape that is. I just bought this jogging stroller yesterday it is pretty sweet. It has an Ipod adapter so we can rock out and an odometer on it too. So me beau, and G baby went out last night for about 2 mile treck. It was pretty hard, not going to lie (I really hate running to be honest). BUT it was my first time so i know it will get better. Wish me luck i really am going to try to keep with it!!

So i am barely getting around to some new posts. But i was reallly excited to get Griggsy's hands casted for his first birthday. My friend Mindy does them (Keepsake Impressions) and they turned out so freakin cute. I totally thought it wouldn't work because griggs is such a wiggler, but they were perfect. Dancin machine!!

Well Griggs has turned into quite the dancer. Anytime ANY music comes on whether its on a commercial, ringtone, or his favorite MTV he just breaks out dancing. Every morning when i am getting ready for work, we always jam out. He is now doing this funky arm shrug thing and he even break dances!! HA it is so cute, it cracks me up!!

Bye Bye Bottles

So today is going on the 4th successful day Griggs has gone without his bottle. It really hasn't been as hard as i thought. Sad yes, because i kinda like our time when he just lays there with me for a whole 10 minutes!! But its good for him. He is a big boy and is starting to be so independent. We just took him to his one year check up and the doctor said he was perfect and very smart. LIKE I DIDN'T ALREADY KNOW THAT!! ha

Missing Maui :(

So It has been a week since we got home from beautiful maui and I already miss it!! It is so so beautiful and laid back there i just want to go back!! I keep a picture of the beach on my phone as a screen saver I try to picture myself there. haha It was so nice for Griggs to get to spend some time with his Grandpa McNeeley. They had so much fun together, except Griggs tore the house apart hourly :) We had such a good time with him and he was so good to us. Thank you John!! It is just so sad coming from such a beautiful climate to THIS CRAPPY westher!! Well i just had to sulk for a second. But one thing is for sure-- WE ARE GOING BACK SOON!! Thats a guarantee

Happy Birthday Griggsy!

Griggs was born March 2, 2008 @ 12:27pm weighing 6 pounds 6 oz. I cannot believe my baby has turned one!! Besides being extremely handsome he has turned into like this little dude. He has the FUNNIEST personality, he loves to make people laugh!! His smile just makes me melt. I love everything about him. Especially when he snuggles with his momma, which isn't much be cause he is way to busy Playing and getting into everything he is not suppose to be. HE is ALL BOY all the time, and boy does he like the ladies. This little flirt goes right for the girls :) These days you can find him JAMMING to music,singing, and running all over the place. He is a stud and way too smart for his own good. I look at his newborn pictures and i almost want to cry seeing how small he was. But He is so healthy and so much fun these days i just have to enjoy every second with him. Before I know it he will be in high school, driving,going away to college...Its such an amazing trip, because i think us as parents learn just as much raising children. I never new my heart could hold so much love or that i would do anything for him to have a great life. Now I know what my parents where always talking about when i would get chewed out for making them worry!! My dad always said-- One day when you have a kid you will see!! I do dad :) Being his mom has made me a better more loving person and i am so happy that he chose me to be his momma. Happy birthday Stinky!!

Just Maui'd !!!

We did it! Beau and I got married February 26, 2009 @ Wailea Beach In Maui, Hawaii. IT was so beautiful at sunset a lot windy but non the less breath taking and just what i imagined my wedding would be. ALL except one thing MY FAMILY!! I wished so much they were just going to surprise me on the beach. I have the MOST MOST awesome family that sent me a gorgeous flower arrangement while i was getting ready :) Thanks that meant so much to me guys. Beaus dads Bishop married us in a short but sweet ceremony. I am so happy to have married my best friend. I love Beau so much, we have been through everything together but i really never ever could imagine my life without waking up with him every day. Griggs was the best and main man and he will have pictures of being at his parents wedding. Well anyways i had to post these up asap for my family, i know they were dying. LOVE YOU!! We will be having a reception soon, date is undecided for now but invitations will be coming. Mahalo

Paradise here we come!!

SOO I have the best best news. WE ARE GOING TO HAWAII!!! I seriously cannot wait. Beaus dad lives in Maui and has been dying to see Griggsy. So he got us tickets!!!SO nice of him, thanks John :) I can't believe it, i have never gone any where on vacation really so i think it is about time!! We leave February 17th and come back March 1st a day before Griggsys birthday. It is going to be awesome for griggs to spend some time with his grandpa Mcneeley. I just keep picturing myself in nice warm weather, being a beach bum, maybe sipping a mai tai :) and of course GETTING A NICE TAn. Yay

LOOK WHO"S WALKING!!!!

Well we have a walking lil boy!!! He started to take a few steps for a couple weeks but never really dared to walk, but the first of last week he was off!!! He loves to walk and try to run. It is a lil sad because my baby boy is growing up but exciting at the same time. I do have to say it is A LOT harder watching him now, because he is into everything. He knows how to rip our vent off the wood floor, and just today i went to put it back on and found a whole grip load of toys down there!! JEESE boy. He was shoving magnetic letters, binkies, ect down there. Good thing i looked :)

Christmas eve and Christmas

Ok i am super slow at posting pics once again but here they are. For Christmas eve we went to my uncles house to have our annual family christmas party. THe kiddos all gather and sing christmas songs and santa leaves a present for them on the steps. It is something i always looked forward to as a kid and think its pretty awesome we still do it!! My dad bought him this cute santa suite to wear :)Griggs had fun singing and hanging out with his cousin devin who is a year older. Then Christmas day my momma flew in!!! It was so much fun having her in town, i miss her guts already. We had a big dinner at my house and opened gifts. Griggsy got 2 horses, elmo, tons of clothes and too many toys to name.
